DivvyBill is a bill splitter and tip calculator app for iOS. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data is collected, by whom, and how it is used.
DivvyBill itself does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. All bill splits, history, and settings are stored locally on your device only.
The app does not require an account or login of any kind.
DivvyBill displays ads to free users via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:
This data collection is subject to your App Tracking Transparency (ATT) consent choice shown at first launch. If you deny tracking, AdMob will serve non-personalized ads only.
Pro users who have purchased DivvyBill Pro see no ads and AdMob does not collect data for them.

The app fetches live currency exchange rates from open.er-api.com. No personal data is sent in this request — only a standard HTTPS GET request for rate data. Rates are cached locally for 24 hours.
DivvyBill Pro is purchased through Apple's App Store. We do not process or store any payment information. Purchase records are managed entirely by Apple.
All app data (split history, settings, recent names) is stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage (Hive database and system preferences). This data is never uploaded to any server.
Data persists on your device until you delete the app or clear app data. We have no access to your data and cannot delete it on your behalf — deleting the app removes all data.
DivvyBill is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
